Diderot Oberschule, 2023, 2024, 2025
At Diderot Oberschule, MOVE.ME has become a recurring workshop format for 9th-grade students. Year after year, students reflect on their evolving identities and shared spaces through shadow-based video sequences and creative movement work.
Each MOVE.ME project uses performance, collective reflection, and mobile shadow installations to turn ordinary gestures into performative language. Students sketch, film, and co-direct their sequences in small groups—supported by “Think-Pair-Share” methods and peer feedback. Final videos are edited by edugrapes, using visual inputs and dramaturgical decisions made by the students.
From the smallest gestures to complex group actions, MOVE.ME gives young participants a space to see themselves—and each other—in new ways. The result: a growing collection of performative videos that celebrate silent expression, collaboration, and the creative power of shadow.
