We are Natalia & Christopher, the minds behind edugrapes. Over the years, we’ve collaborated with schools, theaters, museums, and universities to develop inspiring ways to foster collaboration and participation.

Performance and new media are central to our work—driving collaboration, creativity, and meaningful engagement. One thing is clear to us: we grow and learn better in a group—just like grapes.That’s why we design formats for knowledge exchange and collaboration—ranging from workshops and artistic projects to professional training, talks, and community-focused initiatives.

Christopher Utpadel

Co-Director

Christopher is an art mediator, cultural manager, and curator for outreach and access, with a deep commitment to audience development and inclusion. Born in Berlin, he has spent over a decade exploring performative artistic strategies and accessibility in cultural spaces. His work extends beyond traditional artistic institutions, integrating interdisciplinary and community-driven methodologies that rethink the way we engage with art. With a strong foundation in theater, dance pedagogy, and collective knowledge production, he develops frameworks that encourage social empowerment and sustainable artistic practices. His ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and warmth makes him a key force in fostering meaningful participation and cultural exchange.

Natalia Peña

Co-Director

Natalia is an artist, educator, and designer who bridges transcultural learning with digital media and performative arts. With roots in La Paz, Bolivia, and an extensive international career, she specializes in community-building, global learning, and interactive methodologies. She believes in art as an emancipatory and empowering force, using her expertise in visual storytelling and embodied practice to create inclusive, engaging, and transformative learning spaces. Her boundless energy and open-hearted approach make every collaboration a dynamic and inspiring experience.
