What does our clothing say about who we are—and who we want to be?
For young people, fashion is more than just fabric. It’s a statement of identity, belonging, and individuality. But media and sci-fi visions often present a future where uniforms dominate—functional, optimized, and anonymous. So, what could a Dress Code of the Future look like?
DRESS.CODE is a creative workshop format that invites young participants to explore identity, diversity, and future imaginaries through clothing, digital media, and AI tools. Using greenscreen, ChatGPT, and visual research, participants design speculative fashion concepts and turn them into magazine covers, character designs, or short stories.
Together, they reflect on questions like:
- What does fashion say about power, equality, or inclusion?
- How do media and trends shape our sense of self?
- Can we imagine more diverse and futuristic dress codes?
At the core of the workshop is the body—both in physical and digital space. Participants negotiate how they want to be seen, move, or transformed, while working collaboratively in a safe and playful environment.
Modular & Adaptable
DRESS.CODE can be flexibly adjusted to different time frames, group sizes, and educational settings. From short creative sessions to full-day labs—it’s all about combining critical reflection with hands-on experimentation
