HYBRID.BODIES

Exploring identity, embodiment & presence in digital-physical spaces
HYBRID.BODIES invites participants to explore how our bodies, identities, and movements transform in hybrid spaces—where physical and digital realities overlap. Through performative experimentation and interactive media, the project questions how technology reshapes presence, perception, and self-expression.

Context

Our approach

Participants engage with greenscreen techniques, video, photography, and AI to create immersive installations and performances. They experiment with new forms of embodiment—blending physical movement with digital landscapes and questioning the limits of representation. Artistic tools become a medium for rethinking identity, agency, and presence in hybrid environments.

  • Where do our bodies end, and where does the digital world begin?
  • Can technology extend or fragment my identity?
  • What happens when digital and physical layers merge or dissolve?
  • Outcomes & Impact

HYBRID.BODIES creates playful yet critical spaces where participants can explore new ways of moving, seeing, and being—beyond conventional binaries of online/offline or real/virtual. The project fosters reflection on how we construct and transform our identities in digitally mediated worlds—turning hybrid spaces into arenas for self-exploration, expression, and collective imagination.
